Schools & Community Buildings
ABSTRUCT provided structural and civil engineering design for this new steel framed teaching block on piled foundations. Large expanses of glazing and brick spandrel panels required the main elevations to be free from cross bracing. As a result, the main body of the building was designed with steel moment frames to achieve an economic structure and the desired asthetic.
