ABSTRUCT provided full structural engineering for this new-build residential flats development on the site of a former warehouse. Work entailed the design of piled foundations supporting an RC framed under-croft car park with transfer slab over to receive two storeys of timber frame. Due to the proximity the the highway, ABSTRUCT took the lead to design and agree new highways retaining walls and obtain Approval in Principle (AIP) and Technical Approval a Principle (TA) with Kent Highways.
