Body Lab is a unique new Wellness Club located on Kensington High Street, London. ABSTRUCT'S main involvement in the refurbishment included the design of a new lightweight steelwork mezzanine at ground floor level. The space is now used as a back of house area by the client. The introduction of the new mezzanine maximised the floor space for the wellness club at ground floor level. ABSTRUCT also provided advice and guidance in relation to the removal of numerous internal load bearing masonry walls at the basement level, which provided the client with a free flowing gym space.
