Abstruct Consulting Ltd provided structural engineering services for a new residential development in Oakhill Road, Sevenoaks which consists of two new detached houses with reinforced concrete basements. The construction consisted of traditional load-bearing masonry, concrete beam & block floors, steelwork stability frames and a timber cut and pitch roof. The topography of the site presented some challenges along the site boundary, which were overcome by implementing an underpinning sequenced style of construction.
