ABSTRUCT provided pre-tender structural design and consulting services for this major refurbishment and hotel extension project. Work entailed extensive surveys of the existing structure, strengthening to load-bearing elements, a two-storey roof top extension for new accommodation and plant rooms, upgrading of disproportionate collapse structure, column and wall removals, opening in ground floor slab and partial new basement.
