Abstruct Consulting provided Structural engineering assessment and design services for this exciting fit out project. The main challenge was in relation to the load capacity of the existing reinforced concrete ground floor slab and balancing the number of mezzanine columns against the need to sufficiently spread the load across the existing slab. Another key aspect was design of the acoustic ceiling support.
