International Women in Engineering Day 23.06.2023

Since the launch of Abstruct in 2012, women have played a significant role within the company. Both Sarah and Helen have held director roles from the start. We do not only support women in engineering, we actively promote it and reap the benefits of it. It is a unique selling point for Abstruct when it comes to recruiting the very best engineers. Indeed a recent appointment, Claire Barrett, joined us as a Masters Graduate from Bath University. She says:

’ Finding a company where women were so well represented was a huge incentive for me when I decided to join Abstruct Consulting. I have found working alongside female Chartered Engineers who hold a senior position in the company incredibly inspiring. To be amongst a diverse workforce with a strong team ethic only makes us all better at evolving into well rounded engineers. ’
