"I first tested the laws of gravity very early in my life by picking up and dropping a large stone at the tender age of two, resulting in a broken toe and weeks in a full length leg cast.Many decades on I have over 25 years’ experience defying gravity in a structural engineering career spanning across many sectors, including data centres, schools, residential, bar / restaurant fit out, retail and domestic. I consider myself an adaptable engineer and enjoy all aspects of Structural design from the very big to the very small. My biggest buzz, however, comes from listening to clients, understanding their problems and providing solutions to help solve them. It is so much more than just gravity! In 2016 I joined Adrian’s team firstly as a technical director then co-director of Abstruct Consulting and am incredibly proud of the ratio of female technical staff across all levels of the business."
